Greenwich Day Trip

Boat Tour of London on the Thames River toward Greenwich

Greenwich was beautiful! We got a taste of English history by touring the Palace of Placentia and the National Maritime Museum.

Grotesque-style Painted Ceiling of the palace (now used as a school)

1855 Figurehead  featured at the National Maritime Museum

Restored stain glass from the old Baltic Exchange (I was really taken to this)

At the Greenwich market, I came across a stall where a local photographer was selling his work. He successfully finds beauty in the unexpected.  See his work at http://www.dgoodyear.co.uk/
