1950's Hawaiian Hula

Ever since I was a little girl, my dad had his 1950's camera in hand, ready to capture creative images of his family.  On this family trip to Hawaii, we held a little photo shoot on the beach--1950's style.

As these photos were being taken, performers practiced for their luau--gifting us with live Hawaiian music set to the sound of crashing waves and to the sight of the sun's downward motion toward the ocean.  It provided the opportunity to truly become a 1950's Hawaiian beach babe :).
